Porsche Cars Canada has unveiled the Porsche Experience Centre (PEC) Toronto in Pickering, Ontario—just 40 kilometres east of downtown Toronto . As the first facility of its kind in Canada and the tenth globally, PEC Toronto signifies a pivotal moment for the province’s luxury automotive and motorsport sectors.
The centre boasts a two-kilometre handling circuit, featuring elements inspired by iconic racetracks such as Laguna Seca’s Corkscrew, the Nürburgring’s Carousel, and Le Mans’ Porsche Curves . Visitors can engage in instructor-led modules, including a handling circuit, dynamics area, low-friction handling circuit, and drift circle, all designed to showcase the engineering prowess of Porsche vehicles.
Beyond the track, PEC Toronto offers an immersive brand experience. Guests can enjoy the Carrera Café, explore the Porsche Lifestyle Shop, and test their skills on five advanced driving simulators. The facility also features Canadian design elements, such as Quebec wood lamellas and a locally commissioned art sculpture, reflecting a commitment to sustainability with geothermal heating and photovoltaic panels supplying approximately 20% of its electricity .
The establishment of PEC Toronto underscores Ontario’s growing prominence in the global luxury automotive arena. It complements the region’s expanding network of performance-focused venues and communities, including our own Oro Station Campus. Together, these developments position Ontario as a hub for automotive innovation, heritage, and excellence.
