ORO Track Day Mosport DDT

While our circuit continues to take shape we're taking to opportunity to head to the Mosport DDT along with the members of RCLUB to kick of the 2026 track season. We'll be driving on CTMP's Driver Development Track, a very technical, twisty circuit that is perfect for new and experienced drivers alike to sharpen their skills.

Event Overview

This is a high-performance track day event for drivers of all experience levels. It is not a competition or race. All drivers are assigned a run group based on their experience and may be reassigned to another group to help balance the fields.

Our goal is to implement procedures that mitigate risk and strive to ensure a safe and enjoyable day for all participants and organizers

All drivers must demonstrate the skills necessary to drive on track. If deemed necessary, a driver may be required to complete a sign-off and if unsuccessful, may be offered a coaching session (if available and for an additional fee) to help acclimate to the track and pace. If unsuccessful, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded and the driver can enjoy the day from the passenger seat of other participants and all hospitality.

All rules, flagging procedures and general conduct will be reviewed during the mandatory driver’s meeting before the track opens.

All drivers and participants must obey all directions given by the marshals. Failure to do so may result in the loss of driving privileges.

Please note: Photos and videos may be taken of you and/or your vehicle and may be used for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be captured, please notify us in advance, and we will make every effort to avoid using imagery and will delete any such images from our files.

Agenda

• Three run groups, alternating every 20 min

• 8:00 - 9:00: Registration, waivers, and continental breakfast

• 8:15 - 8:45: 30 min. classroom for Novices Mandatory for all drivers with less than 3 days of track experience or who haven't driven on the DDT

• 8:45 - 9:00: Mandatory Driver’s Meeting for all participants

•  *If you miss the driver's meeting, you will need to see Lead Coach Jamie Ford for approval before being allowed on track

• 9:00 - 12:00: Advanced Drivers - 20 min / Intermediate Drivers - 20 min / Novice Drivers - 20 min

• 12:00 - 13:00: Lunch (track closed)

• 13:00 - 17:00: Advanced Drivers - 20 min / Intermediate Drivers - 20 min / Novice Drivers - 20 min

Costs

Bexley Motor Club and RCLUB Member Driver Costs

All packages include track access, continental breakfast, lunch, and all-day beverages (catering is subject to availability if booking less than 48 hours in advance).

Please note: Bexley Motor Club and RCLUB Drivers with less than 3 days of track experience or those who have not driven on the DDT will need approval from Lead Coach Jamie Ford before they can drive solo. Coaches will be available for novice Bexley Motor Club and RCLUB Drivers.

Guest Driver Costs

Guest Drivers must be invited by a Bexley Motor Club or RCLUB Member.

Guest Drivers with less than 3 days of track experience or those who have not driven on the DDT will require a coach at the cost of  $300 + HST in addition to the track access fee below.

Spectator Costs

If you're curious about our private track day experience but aren't yet ready to get behind the wheel, get yourself a spectator ticket! You can ride right seat with some of our experienced track drivers in a variety of vehicles. If you'd rather watch from the sidelines, that's OK too! 

All packages include continental breakfast, lunch, and all-day beverages (catering is subject to availability if booking less than 48 hours in advance).

Test Drive Opportunities

There will be test drive opportunities during our track day with and all can be rented for a single session or the entire day.

• Radical Canada’s SR3

• FDF’s RUSH SR

Specifics on pricing, terms and damage responsibilities will be available at the track and arrangements will be made directly with the car owners.

You do not need to reserve a car unless you know you want to reserve a car for the entire day then we suggest you contact Jamie Ford at jf@bexley.ca to arrange.

Coaching

Coaching is available for $300 per half day. It is recommended that you contact Jamie Ford at jf@bexley.ca if you are hiring a coach.

Equipment

Helmets are mandatory for all drivers and passengers. Helmets need to be DOT approved or Snell approved (SA or M are both acceptable for track days). Open or closed face helmets are acceptable in closed cockpit cars and closed face helmets required in open cockpit cars.

Any open-top vehicles, convertibles, T-top or Targa tops with factory installed rollover protection is permitted, Convertible tops must be in closed position and T-tops removed from the vehicle. If the open-top car do not have factory installed rollover protection, a roll bar or roll cage must be in place otherwise it will not be permitted trackside.

It is the responsibility of the driver to ensure they are medically fit to operate a car at a track day event and ensure their car is mechanically fit to endure the forces that are applied to a car when lapping at high speeds approaching a car’s performance limits.

Cancellation Policy

Refunds are available if we can fill your spot from the waiting list or the registrant is able to have someone take their spot. Replacements are subject to the terms and conditions for driving. The same policy applies to any coaching sessions booked.
